Re: What Would You Like to See in a FOX Season 10?

Oh, I feel you, brother. I mean some part of me just wants them to keep going on forever like always. The tension between them remaining unresolved and this odd and pleasant idea of this strange FBI couple who cuts the night in their car searching for truth, catching monsters, talking at night. I just watched 'Monday' and then I read a theory about it that made me go :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o It literally said that the day keeps on repeating itself because of Scully's immortality. She cannot die, so the events of Monday continue to go on until Scully survives. I mean...

Can they have some sort of their own private investigation agency? I don't think FBI feels like home anymore. Say, Mulder chasing aliens with some crazy enthusiasts vaguely resembling the LGM? And I need to know what happened to William in the end. But I fear if he shows up and Scully gets all mothe...

A Peculiar Detail in the Blessing Way

by Righthere » May 17th, 2013, 8:39 am

One peculiar detail I've noticed (I don't know whether anybody has spoken about it before). So when in the Blessing Way we see Scully entering the FBI as a visitor after her suspension we can clearly notice this shot: http://i748.photobucket.com/albums/xx123/Tasiuccia/alienfbi_zpsf7c792b6.jpg Don't ...

Roadrunners is one of the creepiest eps of the last seasons. What scares me the most is the religious fanatism. Re: Sexism in the show?

Isn't it about professional sexism, not the daily life one?
Maybe it's about treating a female colleague like an equal, but that does not mean one cannot open the door for her. Scully had to struggle to be respected as an investigator, not that men treated her with disrespect as a lady.

Doggett on the other hand treated Scully like a lady . I think this was definitely sexist of him, though perhaps he didn’t mean to be. He did respect her but in a very old fashioned way. Just clarifying....am I correct in understanding that a woman may consider a man sexist for treating her like a ...

Re: Sexism in the show?

I think in this thread sexism is interpreted in terms of a different attitude towards the two sexes. Mulder in many cases treated Scully like a guy and Doggett mostly treated her like a woman. So from the point of view of feminists yes, he was offending her independence. This is a purely theoretical...
