What makes your ultimate XF3 movie?

Why don't we lists things that's needed for X Files 3 to be memorable, I'll start with number 1.

1. Action packed.

2. Definitely mythology. 3. Return of William, Doggett and Reyes.

4. Mulder and Scully working as an investigative team.

4. Mulder and Scully working as an investigative team.

Completely We need them working together, on the same case.

6. Marita Covarrubias as Mulder's informant.

7. Mulder and Scully are reinstated in the FBI, and they each carry a gun.

8. The scene that I have pictured in my head for the past few years: Scully is dressed all in black. She looks down fondly on Mulder, sleeping in their bed; she could even gently kiss him. Then she has to leave to go and do something top secret. *sigh*

However, Mulder and Scully are still working on the case together!

I hate to be shippy but maybe they are married. They get William back because the rebel aliens helped him become more human, he finds them. Plus I know but I would really like a sex since a really steamy one.

10. How about the return of the Lone Gunmen.

In general - more about the process than the story-line:

I'd like to see new writers and a new studio...

Call me crazy, but I'd kind of like to see a stand alone monster of the week, like back in the good old days.

But really, I'd go see anything...just have it well written, that's the key.

I agree WD... especially since FOX seems FIXated on the cost... Standalone MOWs would be preferable to something so big that it has barely any chance of succeeding. That's why many fans would like to see a "short" or mini-series, where there could be some MOW and lots of loose ends finally tied up.

Keep an eye on Frank Spotnitz' exchanges in his BigLight.com Mailbag. He's been quite clear that neither Carter, Anderson or Duchovny (and presumably Spotnitz himself) are likely to return to an XF series.
